The RN-to-BSN program at San Jacinto College is designed for working registered nurses, offering a 100% online format to accommodate busy schedules.
The program spans three semesters, or one year, and includes 31 credit hours of upper-level coursework. Students can start in the fall or spring semester, with new cohorts admitted each cycle.
This learner-centric program uses eight-week course models and covers topics such as community health nursing, leadership, nursing research, and public/global health policy.
Curriculum
The BSN curriculum builds on prior nursing education, incorporating 34 credit hours of transfer credits from associate degree programs, 55 general education credits, and 31 upper-level nursing credits.

RNSG 1170 Geriatric Nursing
